Health Protocols

Yes. As per current SA regulations, the venue capacity will be limited to a maximum of 250pax at any one time. The exhibition organisers are working closely with Health and Safety advisors to make certain that social distancing measures are in place. The safety and wellbeing of our exhibitors, suppliers, and visitors – and indeed the industry as a whole – is of paramount importance.

All exhibitors, visitors and stakeholders will be required to answer a questionnaire a few days before the exhibition pertaining to COVID 19. No exhibitor, visitor and stakeholder will be provided access to the Venue or Hall without the wearing of a mask and everyone will be screened before entering the venue. Some of the additional protocols you will notice:

  • Contactless badge screening
  • Controlled capacity to avoid overcrowding at peak times
  • Social Distancing measures throughout the Hall
  • Increased spacing between seating
  • Frequent hand sanitisation stations
  • More regular cleaning of the venue

When you have been successfully vetted, you will be notified of the next steps to complete your visitor registration.

The organisers of the Restart Exhibition are working closely with EMS and all stakeholders to meet the SA government Health and Safety protocols to ascertain that the event is approved by EMS and Health and Safety regulations have been met.

Parking is behind Hall 8 at no charge. Please follow the relevant signage.

Yes, there will be designated wireless internet access in the hall.

As the event is a trade event, children under 16 are not permitted to attend the exhibition. The Organiser reserves the right of admission to the exhibition.

No pets are allowed, exceptions are made for guide dogs.

Food stalls serving light snacks and refreshments can be found within the halls.

Exhibitor FAQ's

Floorspace only and stand package options are available.

You will receive clear white polypropylene (PST) panels (2500mm x 960mm), charcoal carpets, fluorescent light, plug point, stand cleaning, table and two chairs. Additional furniture and services will be at the exhibitor’s cost.

Once your stand booking has been confirmed, you will receive confirmation on the amount of exhibitor passes. Please note that due to venue capacity limitations, the number of passes will be strictly limited to the size of the stand.

These dates will be confirmed closer to the time of the exhibition and will be communicated to all exhibitors.

No – we are not implementing any protocols other than the legally required ones.

Due to COVID 19 venue capacity limitations, visitor attendance is not guaranteed. You will need to apply and register your interest to visit. You will be able to select a date and time. Should you be successful in your application, you will receive your visitor badge via email. You can register your interest to attend on www.restartexpo.co.za  The event is free to attend.

This will be sent to you once your application has been approved. Should you have any queries, you can contact leighm@specialised.com

Should your details be incorrect on your badge, please use the email address provided in the body of the email you received with your badge. Should you still have difficulties, please contact leighm@specialised.com

You will be able to show the badge on an electronic device with your QR Code and your badge will be reprinted for you on site.

Due to COVID regulations, you will only be able to attend the exhibition based on the times you have booked during the registration process. You will not be able to attend at a different time or attend more than once.

Restart Expo will illustrate to industry, government, media, exhibitors, PCO’s and visitors what exhibitions will look like post COVID 19.

Yes, your data is secure and will not be shared with a third party without your consent.

All approved registrations will be required to answer a questionnaire a few days before the exhibition pertaining to COVID 19. No visitor will be allowed access to the venue or hall without the wearing of a mask. Each visitor will need to go through a screening process when entering exhibition. Hand sanitizer will be provided at various points throughout the floor of the exhibition and social distancing controls will be used.  More detailed information pertaining to this will be sent closer to the exhibition.
